Refurbished IBM 6387/4587 SLR100 50GB 1/4" QIC Tape Drive. Mount in the system unit or expansion towers (#5072/#5073) for save/restore, alternate IPL, program distribution, migration, and 1/4-inch cartridge tape exchange. Native performance is 2MB/sec and up to 4MB/sec with data compression. One #6387 can be controlled by the MFIOP. Additional #6387s must be controlled by the #6513.
